Instead of an all overblonde, Natalie’s highlights and lowlights give her color some depth, while honey tones frame her face. The multi-toned color givesNatalie a youthful and fresh appearance. Natalie Portman has always been a trendsetter. In her first major role, as Mathilda in Leon: The Professional, she wore a sassy chin length bob that made her look girlishly innocent, with a gutsy touch of femme fatale. She always looks sexy, even in the most outlandish of costumes, like those she wore to play Queen Amadala in The Phantom Menace. She’s subtly sensual, and always poised, even when playing a stripper in Closer. There’s something quintessentially brunette about her, and although her hair has gone from short to long, wavy to straight, dark to light, we think she looks best with shoulder-length (or longer) dark locks and smoky eyes. Natalie reminds of the power understated beauty, and the classic elegance of the perfect shade of brown.
