Bangs are Back!

A striking yet sophisticated look

It's official! Bangs are back and making a statement that we know only hair can do. This new trend can suit any style you carry. Whether is be straight, curly or wavy hair. A bold fringe such as the bang can be worn with loose hair or tied up like the beautiful Michele Lea has done. We love the way her bangs fall to eyelash level and bring out those cat shaped brown eyes. A style like this needs a trim every few weeks, but this look proves to be so worth the upkeep. To achieve such a bold fringe, ask your hair stylist to cut the fringe while your hair is dry. Doing this allows for you to be able to see how your hair falls when you'll need to do it alone at home. To keep your fringe looking fresh with a shine everyday, wash your fringe when you wash your hair each morning. This allows for you to have a bold looking bang everyday, without having to wash your hair.

Braided Bangs: Your Bohemian Summer Look

Screen shot 2013-06-12 at 2.27.49 PM
The disheveled elegance of beatnik braids continue to suffuse fashion and beauty trends. From halo to headband, French to fishtail, all kinds of elaborate entwines are being worn on the runway and the street. But the complexity of making these looks is off-putting for some, so here’s another option: A side-swept braided fringe. One of the best –– and easiest –– ways to adopt the trend, this insouciant look captures the beachy and bohemian aesthetic, keeps hair off the face on hot days, and can be worn in a variety of ways, as seen in the collage. For our tips to adding this simple and chic style to your arsenal, click notes.
Step: Towel-dry hair to damp. Separate your bang section and mist set and style spray into bangs. Blowdry them completely. Now mist them with dry shampoo; tousle and shake with hands for a nice gritty texture, perfect for braiding.
Step: Separate bangs into two or three strands –– two strands is simpler, three strands makes more detailed patterns. Wind the strands over and under each other to create a basic but beautiful braid. Take fine sections if you want a slender twine, take thicker sections for a chunky braid. Use a clip or bobby pins to fix braid into hairstyle.
Step: The rest of your hair can be styled as you like it. Wear with waves for upmost bohemia; sweep into a sleek upstyle to add drama to your free spirit; or make hair straight to create contrasting elements.

The Eclectic Style of Kate Moss

True style lies in the successful breaking of fashion’s rules. A versatile dresser, Kate Moss epitomizes this thought; she navigates a chameleon world by using her senses as a guide. Despite reinventing herself into every epoch, from classic to vintage to bohemian to rock and roll she is always, irrefutably, Kate Moss. And as one of the two biggest trends of spring and summer is the nineties aesthetic (the other is the 1960s) that Miss Moss owned, we felt it the perfect time to look at the hairstyles of fashion’s ultimate IT girl. She’s donned so many looks during her career, including pixie-cuts, blunt bangs, and tousled waves. It makes it hard to define her best-ever image, which, perhaps, is why the world is obsessed. To see how Kate has worn her crowning glory over the years see below.

Pop Haircuts - Bangs Hairstyles Part 5

If you want an easy, low-maintenance way to update your style, get inspired from the latest celeb trend and old favorite: get bangs! The great news is that bangs are not only the perfect option to get stylish but they're versatile to practice new looks framing beautifully the face. It's also guaranteed to knock years of you!

The most on-trend of all the looks are the heavy, blunt bangs instantly updating a simple medium long hairdo. This type of bangs can suit a wide range of face shapes. The secret is in altering the width and depth to suit the individuals' bone structure and hair type.

For the best results ask your stylist for wide, blunt bangs that fall on your brow line when it's dry.

Section back the sides, take the first inch of the bang then clip the rest back. Blow-dry the inch section straight down and then work backwards until you run out of bangs. Finally, use flat-iron over the ends in a downward motion and finish with hairspray or light shine spray.

Tip! Dry your bangs while they're absolutely wet and always use your fingers to avoid any wayward growth patterns spoiling the shape.

Pop Haircuts - Bangs Hairstyles Part 4

it is also a modified variation of blunt haircut. It has a scissor cut look and then textured for a choppy look. Choppy locks provide an increased depth to the facial features. Thin hair density will look thick and voluminous.

The recently Victoria Beckham's haircut is asymmetrical. Asymmetrical in the sense that both sides are not same. They are different from each other. Left, right or front, back portion are different what can be seen in a symmetrical bangs. Wide variations in the length with one side being shorter and other side being longer are the main feature of this kind of haircut. You cannot even imagine what would be the other side.

Disconnected Bangs are those kinds of bangs, which are not connected with each other. Extreme angles are present in both sides. Edges of tresses are cut into the bangs at unexpected locations and lengths. That's why this type of bangs is called disconnected bangs. It can change your appearance to a great extent when you apply this type of styles to your hair.

Pop Haircuts - Bangs Hairstyles Part 3

Here we will discuss about some common and at the same time happening bang styles. The bang styles, which we will be discussed, are mainly variation of bob and long bob cut. Blunt haircut now becoming very popular and with addition of some special bangs student's blunt cut of previous years evolved dramatically.

Just remember the haircut of Cleopatra. It is the ancient form of blunt bangs. This kind of hairstyle is so much stylish and especially for those who can carry them off brilliantly. It is done in a way, which is just below the eyebrow and fringes are done covering the forehead maintaining the same length. Locks are cut precisely straight across from side to side. The length is up to the neck portion. Chinese hairstyle is like this kind of haircut. Plain, silky hair with medium density can have this cut.

This is a haircut, which is gradually textured and generally extended shorter part to longer part. Hair of one side is brushed to sweep across the forehead. So this cut is called side swept.

This is a modified version of blunt haircut. Parted bangs are very much like the simple blunt haircut but the change is done introducing a partition which is gradually placed either in the middle or slightly to the side. Generally long blunt cut look very good if a partition is added in this haircut.
