The American Music Awards seem to always carry the most unique hair styles, and Kelly Osbourne did just that. Walking the red carpet with her purple bangs hanging just above her beautifully shaped eyebrows, Osbourne had the rest of her hair pulled back into a large braid, outlined with gold studs. We love this look!  A feminine style from the front, turned into a twisted punk look from the sides and back. The different shades of purple in her hair are softened by the natural make up she carried on the night. Spring Trends To Wear Now: Punk

The popularity of DIY owes a lot to the early punk movement. 2013 Met Gala: Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie did punk right with a shocking grey bouffant at this year's Met Gala. The designer had teased an Instagram snap of some hair dye earlier in the day, but her high-volume hair was completely unexpected. A cat-eye and dark purple lipstick pulled the look together.
